Au Natural Skinfood Skincare Discovery Set Review

It’s 2021 and I’m vaccinated and the idea of traveling seems perfectly safe again. My 2020 trips that got canceled are starting to get re-booked and I’ve realized that I’m going to have to have some awesome travel-ready skincare products on hand.

When I found out about Au Natural Skinfood's TSA-friendly Discovery Set I had to try it out for the blog. Au Natural Skinfood is an awesome organic skincare brand that uses eco-friendly products and cruelty-free and ethically harvested bee venom and manuka honey.

The entire skincare set is only $19.95 for a 14-day supply, which should be enough for even a long trip. The entire 3-step routine can be done in about 5-minutes and it’s designed to restore glow and radiance to problematic and mature skin.

So here’s how the set stacked up:

Remove Gentle Facial Cleanser

This is my favorite product of the set and I’m going to have to buy a full-size version of this one too. This one smells and feels amazing on your skin because of the active 16+ manuka honey. Manuka honey is naturally antibacterial so you’ll get a nice deep clean without any harsh chemicals.

This one left my skin feeling a bit dewy right after I washed it off, possibly because Manuka honey is a humectant and draws moisture from the air into your skin. It’s by far the best face wash I’ve used and I will definitely buy this again.

Prepare Brightening Lotion and Toner

I did not expect for this one to come in a mister bottle. But, I now really love the idea of a toner you can just quickly mist on.

It’s an awesome mix of vitamin C and Active 16+ manuka honey. This one was Clinically tested by Trinity Laboratories to inhibit 63% of staph bacteria for up to 8 hours post-application. It’s a super gentle toner that can help heal problematic skin.

This one might make me end my love affair with Glow Recipe’s Watermelon Glow PHA + BHA Pore-Tight Toner. I just feel so refreshed and dewy after I put it on.

AM Day Serum Cream

I like this one just fine and I would still happily use it as part of a convenient travel set, but it's not my favorite day cream. I like something a bit lighter for a day cream or serum and it's primarily the same benefits you get as the toner in this set. I would not buy this one in a full size.

PM Night Cream

This is actually the one product of the bunch that I thought I might not like, but instead, I fell in love with it. It uses New Zealand bee venom to support skin cell regeneration and the production of collagen elastin. Like the rest, it also utilizes the active 16+ manuka honey.

This is a dream travel set at an incredible price and I would absolutely recommend it. I'll definitely be taking this with me on all of my future travels. Side note: if you run out of anything you can buy eco-friendly pouches of all of the products to refill your travel kits.

I did receive these products in exchange for my honest review.
