Day 27 - New Year, New You 30-Day Challenge

Over the past year, I've come to realize how important self-care truly is.

Stress increases your risk of getting sick. Stress increases your risk of getting cancer. Stress attributes to muscle pain.

The one thing stress doesn't seem to do is help you accomplish anything. Even if it's only 15 minutes of meditating a day, self-care can change your life for the better.

It's been a scary year for all of us. We need self-care more now than ever before.

Daily Writing Exercise:

It’s terrific that you are protecting yourself from overdoing it and running at full charge all the time by scheduling self-care or downtime.

I’m glad to see that you are aware that even the best intentions can be overdone if you don’t give yourself a break.

We all need to schedule time off to heal.

Daily Activity:

Share a video of your “me time.” Go somewhere into nature (a beach, a park, your backyard). Sit in silence for 5 minutes (phones off). Write down in pen and paper what came up for you and let us know.
