Recipe: Holiday Sausage Biscuit Bites

Recipe: Sausage Biscuit Bites

There’s nothing better than an easy to make holiday treat that you can serve straight out of the oven.

One of my favorite easy holiday recipes are sausage biscuit bites. They’re quick to mix up and bake and make for a nice hearty snack or appetizer on a cold winter day.

So here’s the super simple recipe:

2 pounds ground sausage - I used Primo original pork sausage for mine since I love the herbs they add in

6 cups baking mix - I used Bisquick

2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

Step 1:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F

Step 2:

In a large mixing bowl combine sausage, shredded cheese, and baking mix together.

Step 3.

Place a sheet of parchment paper on a cookie sheet. Roll them into balls a little smaller than a golf ball and place evenly on cookie sheet.

Step 4:

Bake for 25 to 30 minutes and make sure cut one down the middle to make sure that none of the sausage is still pink.

Step 5:

Eat and enjoy :)
