Review: Parformer Lightweight Silicone-Free Natural Hair OIl Serum

The first thing that caught my eye about Parformer’s Lightweight Silcone-Free Natural Hair Oil Serum was that it claimed to be light enough for fine hair. I have very fine dark blonde hair. It’s rare that a hair oil spray doesn’t weigh my hair down and make it look like I haven’t showered for a week.

I decided to test it out and see if it could actually live up to its claims.

Best case scenario: I have an easy way to create a lovely sleek pony.

Their ingredient list included argan oil, chia seed oil, squalane oil, and olive oil, and as the name implies it’s obviously silicone-free. So I felt pretty good about applying this one to my hair - even if it was too heavy it would likely at least make my hair a bit softer and healthier like a mini hair mask.

I followed their suggested advice to spray it directly on the palm of my hands and then evenly distribute it into my hair. It didn’t feel heavy on my hair at all, but it was still excellent for taming any flyaways. I was able to get that nice sleek ponytail I wanted with just two sprays.

I won’t deny that my hair looks like it has a bit of product in it. I will say, though, that this looks more like what it would if I had a good fine hairspray in my hair than what it normally looks like when I apply hair oil.

I also noticed my hair was soft and perfect after I washed it out. I noticed similar results that I get from leaving a regular hair mask in before a shower. I absolutely loved this. Instead of taking time while out of my day a couple of times a month to do a hair mask (that I can’t leave the house with once it’s on) I can instead just do a quick ponytail with the Parformer Lightweight SIlicone-Free Hair Oil Serum.
